Be A Possibilitarian!
The first response from my recruiting prospects: "Do you make any $ selling Avon?" My counter response to that is YES YOU CAN! It's all what you put into what you love to do. If you love the products you sell, then you will somehow convince a prospect to believe in what you love to do and inspire them to do what you do. It is like deciding if the glass is half full or half empty. The second most typical response: "I'm no good at selling." Believe it or not but everyday you look for ways to sell yourself and you don't even know it. When you try to escape from a crisis, problem, the natural thing to do is to panic. When you say you are no good at selling, this is also a form of panic. But when you learn to calm down in a critical moment you can think more rationally, use better judgment and more creative decision making. What you struggle to do everyday is to make yourself credible or worthy of a decent existence by selling yourself, or the part of yourself you want the world to see. Imagine you are at a job interview. Don't you want to sell a part of yourself you want your employer to see and believe about you? As a part of acquiring survival skills, you seek the knowledge you need at a given moment to sell yourself out of a crisis. Some people would call it "street smarts." On a long-term basis, you seek knowledge you need that will help you decide what career to choose, that would serve your best financial interest and the quality of your lifestyle. This would determine where you decide to go to college, whether or not to relocate, commute, what kind of job you work and what skills you want to improve while pursuing your goals. The third most popular response: "I don't have a lot of friends," or "I don't know enough people." My response to this is get out and network. Find your network of friends who believe in your goals and dreams. While doing that, make a list of all the people you knew in your lifetime. Go back five or 10 years or whatever it takes. Save your old address books and search for your old friends while you're out making new ones What it all comes down to is believing in yourself. When you do that then your prospects will believe in you! Rather than be victimized by your circumstances, believe in the possibilities of the good that can result from a challenging situation, channel positive energy into these possibilities and overcome your circumstances, by gaining more control over them verses letting them control you. When you are in control, your problems have no more power over you. Don't let anything stop you from achieving your goals and dreams...be a possibilitarian and believe! You do have the power. Look for nothing more or nothing less than the knowledge needed to lead you to your power from within, the key to your destiny...direct that power, and by golly USE IT...because knowledge is power!
Selling: What You Want The World To Know About You.
Sell yourself...the part of yourself you want people to see.
You can up-sell your strengths and what you want the world to know about you. A good salesperson will find ways to tell the whole world - advertise! Good news: If you have a passion, you also have the potential to be a good salesperson...we all have it!
If you are pursuing a career in acting, comedy, dance, or music etc. you want the world to know you are creative and good at what you love. If you are an aspiring athlete, you want to get into as many leagues, play as many games as possible and network with your superiors! It all ads up to the most important thing if you want success: Explore your potential to be a good salesperson and start directing that knowledge and power to serve a productive end - finding the part of you, you want to sell to the world in which you have to survive.

If you want to know the right people, be in the right situations at the right time - you find creative networking outlets and learn the ways you want to advertise and up-sell yourself .
What do you want the world to know about you? FYI - it took me a whole lifetime to figure out how to up-sell my strengths, convince my friends, neighbors and colleagues by effectively advertising what I want them to know about myself. I want the whole world to know that I sell Avon and I'm a licensed hairstylist. If you can do this then selling is easy!

When I think about that question, I feel a burden has been lifted. Why fret about the future...and why worry? Instead of reacting to your changing daily circumstances, imagine where you want to be in 5 - 10 years from now and how you can actively take a step of faith in that direction every day.
One day will always be different from the next. What you may know today may be something completely different from what you needed to know yesterday. What you will need to know tomorrow will be different from what you needed to know today...because life is unpredictable.
Your goals and dreams are what should remain the same. Visualize it, acknowledge it, and achieve it!
Healthy survival and self-help skills are finding the resources needed today that benefit you now and the rest of your life...today, tomorrow, and forever!

How Did Avon Inspire Me?
What inspired me to sell Avon is having supplemental income to my day job, selling products I not only love but the ability to run a home based business with unlimited earning potential.
I am a proud mom who is focused on family, friends, helping people in my life and meeting new people. My attitude is to focus on what you need to know today to help you be happy today, tomorrow and always. I am open to listening and learning, and will give advice when people ask for it. I love to style hair, buy and sell cosmetics, and blog about personal accomplishments thru life's struggles and challenges.
I am a licensed cosmetologist, raise my son and sell Avon on and off line. Three important things to me are family, friends and help making the world a better place.
